Police takes Maulana Samiul Haq's secretary into custody

Moulana Ahmad Shah was a close companion of Moulana Samiul Haq

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – In an important development in the murder case of religious scholar and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq, his personal secretary Ahmed Shah was taken into custody from Peshawar.

Rawalpindi police apprehended the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief’s personal secretary Ahmad Shah and launched interrogation.

Moulana Ahmad Shah was the one who informed the police about the assassination.

He was a close companion of Moulana Samiul Haq and was performing his duties as the JUI-S chief’s driver, operator and gun man.

Police detained Ahmad Shah with the support of his relatives and was shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation.
